From Human Rights to Healing: The Journey of Sattva Wellbeing and Consulting Pvt. Ltd.
For more than two decades, my life has been dedicated to standing alongside survivors of violence, torture, discrimination, and social exclusion. Through the People's Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) and Jan Mitra Nyas, I have witnessed extraordinary courage among individuals and communities struggling to reclaim their dignity after experiences of trauma and injustice. These years of engagement taught us an important lesson: while justice is essential, healing is equally urgent. Legal remedies may take years. Social recognition may come slowly. But the emotional and psychological wounds of violence require immediate attention. Survivors cannot wait indefinitely for healing.
